The extreme conditions of environment in the ocean, sky, and outer space, which are totally different from those on the earth, constitute severe obstacles. To challenge these obstacles, it is necessary to develop and integrate a high level of knowledge of environmental characteristics and fundamental knowledge acquired in undergraduate courses.

The Division of Aerospace and Marine-System Engineering, through experiments using cutting-edge equipment and research activities such as calculations with high-performance computers, fosters human resources able to design and develop technologies to protect/create the marine, sky and space environments, as well as the next-generation machines and systems that will play active roles in each of them.
